Today our new adventure starts.  We are officially retired!!!

Let me introduce myself.  My name is Pat and my husband's name is Mark.  The fur baby is Ebony, a 16 year old black cat named Ebony.

We bought a Class A 1993 Winnebago Brave a few months back.  After customizing it to our needs,  the first leg of our journey begins.

The plan was to be on the road by 9:00am today, but, as is most often the case, "The best laid plans of mice and men...".  So after a two hour delay we finally hit the road.

Ebony has always travelled well, so I wasn't concerned that there would be any issues.  She is trained on a harness/leash and is thoroughly fascinated with the world around her when we go for walks.  She went from window to window as we drove down the road, trying to absorb all she saw.  She even "demanded"  the passenger seat at one point and was Marks co-pilot.

We arrived at the end of day 1 in Washington, PA., albeit a little later than scheduled.  We are tired, but oh so excited.  Cannot wait to see what day 2 has in store for us.  Another entry tomorrow night.  Sleep well and God bless you all.
